April 24 @ 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm EDT$45
Despite the rumbling and turmoil on the surface, there is always a deeper, truer current to tend and nourish in our own lives and in our communities. It is into this field of true intelligence, creativity and mystery that I invite you to participate with compassion and curiosity in the precious life of your own body.
The practice of Continuum will deepen the direct experience of living well together in our bodies and in our lives.
Continuum is a gentle inquiry into the depths of our body’s creative capacities using soulful, dynamic & subtle movement, gentle breathing, primordial vocalizing and imagery.
It is an inquiry into what’s possible in the human form, and what we can discover when we awaken to ourselves as fluid systems.
Special Guest Continuum teacher, Bobbie Ellis, who will offer The Continuum of Yoga:
Discover new and unexpected possibilities when you combine the fluid movement practices of Continuum with the principles and practice of Yoga.
For 32 years Bobbie Ellis has been deeply committed to exploring the territory of inquiry using the wisdom of the body. In addition to being a Continuum Teacher and one of the founding members of the Continuum Teachers Association, she directs Soma Center, Resources for Embodied Living, celebrating 20 years in Highland Park, NJ. As a yoga and movement guide, writer, and embodied meditation teacher, Bobbie offers classes, workshops and one on one sessions in her studio and loves to travel teach.
She has learned to trust and share from the quiet of her own body. From her need for clarity in the passages of her own life, she has creating workshops and training programs that offer deep ways of cultivating resources for living an embodied life.
