Living Potential Drum Circle

This workshop will be a combination of free play jamming, learning specific African Rhythms, getting to use general patterns that can be used in almost any drum circle, playing with call and response, and a bit of creating new patterns of our own.

Drum circles create a feeling of connection with others in the group. It can be healing for internal organs especially for regulating the rhythm the heart. The patterns we learn will be primarily for the djembe,ashiko or similar sized drum altho a dundun will be incorporated occasionally. The class is designed for beginners and intermediate but everyone is welcome.
